Marinette County Trail Report Update

DECEMBER 18, 2018 UPDATE

Winter ATV/UTV trails are open. Snowmobile trails are in very poor condition or clubs have closed their snowmobile trails  This week's trail report is similar to last week's except to say that where the trails are open for ATV's & UTV's, the snowmobiles are allowed to run also. But the snow conditions have deteriorated and snowmobiling is not recommended anywhere in Marinette County.

The Near North Trail Riders (Athelstane) Our report is much like last week. No grooming being done due to lack of snow, We need snow badly. Hopefully Santa will grant our wish and bring some,  Our trails however are open year round for ATV's & UTV's except for the month in the Spring when the county closes them, Have a great week and Merry Christmas.

DUN-GOOD RIDERS: No new snow in the past week. Trails are open for UTV's & ATV's. Snowmobiling is not recommended

IRON SNOW SHOE: Snowmobile Trail Conditions: Closed. Snow Cover: minimal. Date of Report: December 17, 2018. Trails are still closed due to lack of snow. ATV’s and UTV’s may ride the trails North of Hwy C. The weather has been warm so the little bit of snow we did have is disappearing fast. Nothing of any amount is in the forecast. Our new tractor is ready and being picked up today. The chains will be put on today and we will be ready to go once the weather cooperates. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all…

PEMENEE RIVER RIDES: The trail going west to the junction with the Dun-Good trails was groomed last week, but no new snow this week. Trails to the east will not be groomed until we get more snow. Trails are in poor condition due to lack of snow. Most of our ATV/UTV trails are open at this time.
